It seems like sessions tend to cluster together as far as ages. For a while most of my little clients were turning one, then the fast moving toddlers, after that was a bunch of tweens...now...it's baby season!

Taking a Break

I decided to take a 5 minute break from proofing a sweet newborn session to catch up on my blog! Here are just a few of the images that have been sitting in my "share" pile for quite some time.

Hey UPS guy...I missed you today...but you left me an amazing gift! Thanks! What a wonderful job to be able to deliver packages to people... I don't know about everyone else, but I get so stinkin excited every time I get a package.

Today my new Canon 5d arrived safe and sound!!! It works like a charm...see...





This is me and my new camera.

What's the big deal?
No, it won't improve my composition...it doesn't work any magic tricks, it doesn't shoot without my help.

So what does it do?
Well, mostly, it allows me to shoot in low light (or should I say lower light). The self portrait above was taken at 8:30 pm in my bathroom with just the horrid flourescent lighting. Ideal conditions?...no...not at all, but this shows that I will be able to photograph indoors with more flexibility during the dark winter months!

Ok, I *need* to get some sleep now so that I can catch the morning sunlight and test this camera out!
